Driving Directions
From Albuquerque, New Mexico drive East on I 40 through the scenic Tijeras Pass into the Fresh Clean Air of the Sparkling East Mountains!
Exit at the Tijeras/Cedar Crest Exit. Bear left at the Y (on the off-ramp) to continue to Cedar Crest. Enter onto the Frontage Road and continue for about 100 yards. At the Y (on the frontage road) bear Right (do not go North under the freeway), to stay on Route 66 (the frontage road) for all of 15 feet.
Turn right on Primera Agua and continue over speed bumps. When you come to a large widening of the road, stay to the right and continue up the hill and over more speed bumps. You will crest the hill and descend into a beautiful Shangri-La Valley making a sweeping counterclockwise turn at the bottom. The first house on your left is in the center of the sweeping turn in the road (that is not it), and the SECOND house on the left at the bottom of the hill is number 71 Primera Agua. It is a red and white house with a gravel driveway leading to a two door garage. Park in front of the garage doors and come up the flagstone stairs on the west to the front door guarded by lions.
It takes just 3 minutes once you turn on Primera Agua. It is not as long as it sounds from the description.
